By dint of regularly realizing I was unable to tell others in simple terms what my music is, one day I thought it would be easier to create a show about it. As I hear it was born, not to explain, but to try and taste, have a laugh and be moved together by a gratuitous and unreasonable practice, often unusual (try once to listen to my “contemporary music” while doing the dishes!). I wanted to play and talk about this strange music that, while refusing the comfort of the pre-heard, hopes to touch every one of us on our most intimate and untamed spots. To elaborate this creation, with the idea of a “solo, but not alone”, I asked the Merlan theatre to assemble a group of listeners. Showing great generosity, they lent their ears to my tastes, research, sound obsessions. They talked about this music, they put their words about it as they heard it.I recorded them. From sound to music including their commentaries, I’ve aimed to weave a speech symphony that also be the proposal of a space : where you invent yourself listening.
